Online vs Retail Gaming in Ontario
Ontario is unusual in reporting its online and land-based channels through different bodies — iGaming Ontario for regulated online, OLG for provincial lottery and land-based casinos. Together they show a market shifting online.
The online channel (iGaming Ontario)

The land-based & provincial channel (OLG)

What the split tells us
OLG's own digital net profit hit a record C$378M even as the separate iGaming Ontario market grew to C$3.2B in revenue — evidence that online demand is expanding across both the open market and the provincial channel, not simply moving between them. Land-based casinos remain a large, stable base of 30 facilities.
A note on comparability
Online (iGO) and provincial (OLG) figures come from different reporting frameworks and should not be added together into a single "Ontario total" without care — see Methodology.
